Changes over time
For a connected Shopify store, GNIZDO keeps the latest observed catalog values and records changes between observations.
Read-only observation
Shopify catalog access in GNIZDO is read-only. GNIZDO does not send stock, price, or listing changes back to Shopify, and it does not automatically synchronize stores.
Shared identity and comparison
GNIZDO compares Shopify variants with listings from other channels only after they have confirmed shared identity. GNIZDO may confirm identity automatically only from an exact valid GTIN, or an exact SKU that is unique per channel and has no conflicting valid GTIN; title similarity and ambiguous SKU evidence remain review-only.
Merchant connection availability
The Shopify runtime is implemented, but merchants cannot currently connect a Shopify store publicly. Public merchant connection is gated until GNIZDO's Shopify App Store listing is published and configured.
Connection and security
Shopify uses an OAuth install flow. Credentials required to keep a connected channel authorized are stored in encrypted form.
