Etsy inventory monitoring
Status: beta — read-only. GNIZDO connects to an Etsy shop through OAuth and observes its catalog read-only. It reads confirmed Etsy catalog evidence, runs applicable detections, and records generation changes, but never writes back to Etsy.
What GNIZDO reads
- Stock quantity or stock status per listing
- Price per listing
- Listing scope — active and sold-out listings
- Listing state and key identifiers (including SKU)
- Channel trust, connection, freshness, and sync-execution signals
How the connection works
Etsy connects exclusively through OAuth. GNIZDO obtains explicit authorization for the shop you own, then reads catalog evidence into a confirmed local generation. Reconnect protection prevents a different shop from silently taking over an existing channel.
What GNIZDO shows
- Latest known stock, price, and listing scope for each listing
- Catalog completeness and import progress
- Freshness — how long since the shop was last successfully observed
- Change evidence — stock drops, price changes, listings appearing or disappearing, stock or price data lost
- Oversell-risk signals combining low stock with stale freshness
Write capability
Read-only. GNIZDO does not send stock, price, or listing changes back to Etsy. There is no write-back and no automatic sync.
How confirmed mapping works for Etsy
GNIZDO can surface likely same-product candidates against other channels using exact SKU or title evidence, but a match is only a candidate. You confirm which listings represent the same product; only then does GNIZDO treat them as one item and keep their cross-channel evidence together. Equal SKUs are never assumed to prove shared identity.
Limitations
- GNIZDO mirrors what Etsy reports; it has no warehouse, POS, or WMS source of physical stock truth.
- The integration is read-only and in beta, so coverage can change.
- Cross-channel comparison applies only to confirmed shared identity.
