Platform Integrations for Multichannel Inventory and Order Sync
GNIZDO connects your sales channels to detect inventory getting out of sync (stock mismatches/"ghost stock"), price drift, and order conflicts before they reach customers. We're building integrations for WooCommerce, Etsy, eBay, and Shopify—the platforms where most multichannel sellers operate.
Early access starts in March 2026. We invite sellers in small batches to ensure proper setup and support. Platform support is rolling out gradually.
How GNIZDO Integration Works
Most multichannel inventory tools attempt real-time synchronization—pushing stock updates from one platform to all others whenever something changes. This approach breaks silently when API calls fail, networks timeout, or rate limits kick in.
GNIZDO takes a detection-first approach. We assume drift will happen and focus on catching it early:
- Stock monitoring — We compare inventory counts across your connected platforms and flag discrepancies before they cause oversells
- Price drift detection — We track pricing across channels and alert you when listings show different prices than intended
- Order conflict detection — We identify when multiple channels have accepted orders that exceed available inventory
Instead of promising perfect synchronization, we make drift visible so you can address it before customers are affected.
Detection depth and timing vary by platform based on API capabilities and rate limits.
WooCommerce Integration
Planned scope: Stock sync, price monitoring, order aggregation
WooCommerce integration focuses on sellers using WordPress as their primary ecommerce platform while also selling on marketplaces. Common scenarios include:
- Running a branded WooCommerce store alongside Etsy and eBay listings for the same products
- Managing wholesale pricing in WooCommerce while maintaining different retail pricing on marketplace channels
- Using WooCommerce as inventory master with stock flowing to other platforms
WooCommerce Stock Mismatch Detection
We monitor inventory levels in your WooCommerce database and compare them against connected marketplace listings. When WooCommerce shows different stock than Etsy or eBay for the same SKU, you get notified on the next scheduled check.
This catches common problems like:
- Sales on one channel that didn't update WooCommerce inventory
- Manual WooCommerce adjustments that didn't propagate to marketplace listings
- Returns processed in WooCommerce that left marketplace inventory unchanged
WooCommerce Price Sync
Price monitoring tracks whether your WooCommerce product pricing matches what you're charging on other channels. This is especially relevant for sellers who:
- Run promotions on their WooCommerce store but need marketplace prices to stay consistent
- Use tiered pricing strategies where WooCommerce wholesale prices differ from marketplace retail
- Change prices frequently and need to ensure all channels reflect current strategy
WooCommerce Order Management
Order aggregation pulls WooCommerce orders into the same view as your marketplace orders, making it easier to spot when total committed inventory exceeds available stock. This provides visibility into situations where WooCommerce and Etsy both confirm orders for the same last unit.
Etsy Integration
Planned scope: Stock monitoring, price drift detection, order conflict alerts
Etsy integration targets handmade and vintage sellers managing inventory across Etsy plus their own website or other marketplaces. Key focus areas:
Etsy Inventory Sync Monitoring
Etsy's API allows us to pull current stock levels for your active listings. We compare these against your actual warehouse inventory and other channel listings to detect:
- Etsy listings showing availability for products that sold out on other channels
- Stock quantities in Etsy that don't match your central inventory counts
- Etsy draft listings or renewed listings with outdated stock numbers
Etsy Stock Mismatch Detection
Because Etsy doesn't automatically update when you sell on Shopify or WooCommerce, stock mismatches are common. We flag these on scheduled polling intervals:
- Item sells on Shopify → Etsy still shows old quantity → alert triggers on next check
- You manually adjust inventory → forget to update Etsy → drift detected based on polling schedule
- Return processed elsewhere → Etsy doesn't reflect returned stock → mismatch notification
Prevent Overselling on Etsy
Etsy oversells damage your shop metrics and search ranking. Our monitoring reduces oversell risk by:
- Comparing Etsy committed orders against actual available inventory
- Identifying when Etsy inventory + other channel orders exceed physical stock
- Alerting you before shipping deadlines when conflicts need resolution
Etsy Order Management
We aggregate Etsy orders with your other channels so you can see total committed inventory in one place. This makes it clear when you've accepted more orders than you can fulfill, giving you time to source additional stock or communicate with customers before ship dates.
eBay Integration
Planned scope: Stock monitoring, price tracking, active listing sync
eBay integration serves sellers managing fixed-price listings across eBay and other platforms. Focus areas include:
eBay Inventory Sync
eBay's inventory system operates independently from other platforms. We monitor:
- Stock quantities in active eBay listings versus actual available inventory
- eBay listing revisions that change quantities without updating other channels
- Out-of-stock eBay listings that should be available based on other channel data
eBay Stock Mismatch Prevention
eBay penalizes sellers for transaction defects, including cancelled orders due to out-of-stock situations. We help prevent these by:
- Detecting when eBay shows higher stock than you actually have available
- Flagging mismatches between eBay quantities and your other platform listings
- Monitoring inventory drift during polling intervals
eBay Order Sync
eBay order aggregation combines your eBay sales with orders from other channels, providing visibility into order conflicts:
- When eBay and Shopify orders both claim your last unit
- When total orders across channels exceed stock before any platform updates
- When eBay Best Offer acceptances create unexpected inventory commitments
Shopify Integration
Planned scope: Inventory monitoring, price consistency checks, order aggregation
Shopify integration focuses on sellers using Shopify as their primary platform while also maintaining marketplace presence. Common scenarios:
Shopify Multichannel Inventory
Shopify's built-in inventory management doesn't automatically sync with external marketplaces. We bridge this gap by:
- Monitoring Shopify inventory levels against Etsy, eBay, and WooCommerce listings
- Detecting when Shopify stock changes don't propagate to connected channels
- Flagging inventory discrepancies across Shopify locations and marketplace listings
Shopify Stock Sync Monitoring
We track Shopify's inventory across all your sales channels and alert you when:
- Shopify shows different quantities than your marketplace listings for the same SKU
- Inventory adjustments in Shopify admin don't reflect in marketplace stock
- Shopify variant inventory drifts from bundled product availability elsewhere
Shopify Order Management
Shopify order data gets aggregated with marketplace orders so you can identify:
- Situations where Shopify and marketplace orders together exceed available stock
- Timing conflicts where orders arrive faster than inventory updates propagate
- Multi-location Shopify fulfillment that affects marketplace availability
Multichannel Integration Architecture
Our integration approach prioritizes reliability over speed:
API Connection Management
We maintain authenticated connections to each platform's API and handle:
- Authentication refresh and token management
- Rate limit compliance to avoid API restrictions
- Retry logic for failed requests
- Graceful degradation when platforms experience downtime
Data Synchronization
We use scheduled polling intervals optimized per platform:
- Frequent checks (5–15 minutes) for fast-moving inventory
- Less frequent checks for stable products
- On-demand pulls when you need immediate visibility
Actual sync timing depends on each platform's API rate limits and response times.
Mismatch Detection Logic
Our core detection engine:
- Compares data across all connected platforms
- Identifies discrepancies in stock, pricing, and order status
- Calculates drift severity based on sales velocity and inventory levels
- Prioritizes alerts by business impact
What Integration Doesn't Include (Yet)
To set realistic expectations, our initial integrations do not include:
- Automatic inventory updates across platforms (we detect, you decide whether to sync)
- Product listing creation or bulk uploads
- Automated repricing based on competitor analysis
- Shipping label generation or fulfillment automation
- Customer communication or review management
We're focused on inventory and order visibility first. Additional features come later based on seller needs.
Beta Access and Rollout Timeline
March 2026 — Initial beta invitations for WooCommerce + one marketplace platform
April–May 2026 — Gradual expansion to additional platform combinations
Ongoing — Weekly beta cohorts as we validate stability and support capacity
We're deliberately limiting beta size to ensure:
- Proper onboarding for each seller
- Time to address integration issues before scaling
- Feedback incorporation before general release
